Asaf Lubezky was born in Cape Town, South Africa and raised in Israel. Asaf trained and played in 4 different continents exposing him to all different styles of play and development. After playing professional soccer in Israel Asaf came to the States on a full Soccer Scholarship where he captained University of Hartford to many achievements. He received such honors as: Scholar All American, All New England 1st team, America East All Conference for all 4 years (only 2 people in the history of the conference achieved this), University of Hartford MVP, America East Champion, scorer of winning goal in the conference finals and more.
After completing his playing career Asaf turned to coaching and worked at the University of Hartford, Division I. Recognizing that the younger players need to improve their technical and tactical understanding of the game, coach Asaf decided to dedicate his knowledge to the youth soccer players in the states. He’s trained and guided thousands of players throughout the years including state cup winners in both Connecticut and Florida. Coach Asaf completed and excelled at the Director of coaching Diploma, NSCAA Advance National License & the NSCAA National License.
Coach Asaf hires our coaches and developed our club structure, club philosophy, coaching curriculum, style of play, principles of play, coaching methodology and our overall positive environment for the coaches and players.
Coach Asaf has over 20 years of coaching experience with youth players and emphasizes the importance of the big picture in the individual’s development as a person and player.
