BOYNTON KNIGHTS FC & SFFA Girls DUE PROCESS
Boynton Knights (boys and girls) & SFFA (girls) priority is to provide a healthy and positive environment for the players, coaches, parents and administration in our program. Our expectations are that everyone is respectful at all times and there is a “no tolerance” policy to parents who are negative as that impacts the children in our program directly and indirectly.
Boynton Knights FC & SFFA girls have the right at any point throughout the season to release a player if the Director of Coaching & our Regional Commissioner see that the player/parents are disruptive to the program. This is in our contract that every family has to sign when joining our program.
Incident or Issue Occurs:
Step 1: Disciplinary committee (DOC, Safety Director & club administrator) get the information/facts.
Step 2: Disciplinary committee has conversation with the parents and coaches to hear all sides of the situation.
Step 3: Disciplinary committee notifies the parents of the outcome.
The 3 main outcomes include:
A) No major issues found and the parent/s continue to commit to following our club contract/agreement to maintain a positive environment for the players, coaches, parents and administration.
B) Suspending the parent and keeping the child in the program. This could happen if there is another family member who can take the child to the fields. The parent/s would need to apologize for their actions and commit to following our club contract and being positive going forward.
C) Removal from the program. This step is taken if the Disciplinary committee concludes that having the family in the program, would impact our players, coaches or program negatively. If a family has multiple children, they could all be removed from the program.
